Well-Known Traction Man Dead

Reading, Pa., Feb. 26 - Howard E. Ahrens, president of the Allentown and Reading Traction Company, and prominent business man, died today at the Reading Hospital, of stomach trouble, aged 64 years. The firm of H. E. Ahrens & Brother, in which he associated himself with his brother, James S. Ahrens, has constructed a number of trolley lines in eastern Pennsylvania.1
