Mifflin County Genealogy

Mifflin County was incorporated from parts of Cumberland and Northumberland Counties in 1789. The new county was named for Thomas Mifflin, a Revolutionary War hero and a national patriot, who was Governor of the Commonwealth from 1788 to 1799.
