Carlisle, Pa., March 27. Mrs. Laura S. Morton, of New York city, through her attorney, District Attorney Barnitz, of this city, will contest the will of her father, John B. Bratton, for thirty-five years editor and proprietor of the Volunteer. Mr. Bratton died some time ago and had an estate of $25,000. He had several children and in disposing of the estate through his will, he gave his son Edward "$32 per year during his natural life," and for some reason his daughter Laura was entirely ignored. She now claims part of the estate and will ask the Cumberland County Court to investigate the matter.1
