Radnor Baptist Cemetery

Also known as the First Baptist Cemetery, this burial ground at the corner of Conestoga and West Wayne avenue was established by a brnach of the Baptist Churhc in the Great Valley. THe group had split off from the main church over the issue of abolition. Over the years, as tempers cooled and the abolitionist movement faded taway, the church declined and finally, in 1951, the building was torn down. The burial ground remains.
