Trimble, William - 1795. Concord

I, William Trimble of the Township of Concord being advancd in years and weak of Body but through divine favour of sound disposing mind and memory fo make this my last will and Testament. - Imprimis I give to my son WIlliam Trimble all that part of my premises situate in West Whiteland that adjoins his saw mill and north of the great road called Lancaster Road to him his Heirs and assigns forever, likewise I give and bequeath to my son William my black Walnut desk and walnut oval Table in faull of all legacies whatsoever. My son Joseph have had what I intended for him only Sixty pounds hereafter directed to be paid him by Daniel and my grand son William twenty five pounds.

Item, I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Trimble one hundred and seventy five pounds (besides what he have already had of me of which I have kept a memorandum of) to be paid to him one year after my Decease.

Item, I give, Devise to my son Daniel Trimble all my Messuage Plantation and tract of land situate in the township of Thornbury, containing one hundred acres with allowance to him, his heirs and assigns forever on condition that he pays his brother Joseph Sixty Pounds within one year after my Decease.

Item, I fgive and devise to my daughter Hannah, the wife of Isaac Jacobs all the other part of my aforesaid premises or tract of land situate in the township of West Whiteland to the south of the aforesaid Lancaster Road to her and her heirs and assigns forever.

Item, I give and bequeath to my Daughter Rachel Trimble two hundred and forty Pounds in one year after my Decease also all the household furniture which was provided for her some time ago; besides what she already had of me of which I have kept a memorandum and likewise full liberty of living and residing in my Messuages and Plantation wherein I now dwell during her unmarried state.

Item, I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Trimble two hundred and fifty pounds to be paid her in one year after my Decease also full liberty of living and residing in my Messuage and Plantation wherein I now dwell during her unmarried state and likewise one bed and furniture thereunto belonging, and six chairs and armoire. and Clothes press which now stand in my lodging room.

Item, It is also my will that my aforesaid two sons Joseph and Samuel Trimble shall have the privilege of sawing at my saw mill as much lumber as may be convenient for the necessary improvements and repairs pf their now present messuage and plantation during thie Residence on said premises and no longer they bringing their own lumber.

Item, I give and devise to my grandson William Trimble offspring of my son John Trimble Dec'd all my messuage plantation and tract of land situate in the Township of concord which I purchased of Thomas West and Joseph Nichlin containg as may appear by my deeds does the same except such privileges of and to the same as is before mentioned to him his Heirs and assigns forever when he shall arrive to the full age of twenty one years he paying therefore within one year after my Decease the  sum of two hundred pounds in the manner following viz to my son Samuel Trimble the sum of one hundred pounds to my son Joseph Trimble, the sum of twenty five pounds to my daughter Rachel Trimble and to my daughter Ann Trimble the sum of twenty five pounds. Also I give and bequeath to my said grandson my clock and stove on condition that he pays to my grand child Lydia Trimble daughter of my son William Trimble the sum of ten pounds in one year after my Decease. to be put on interest by her father for her use.

Item, I give and bequeath all the remainder and residue of my personal Estate of what kind soever unto my five children hereafter named (to wit) Joseph, Samuel, Hannah wife of Isaac Jacobs, Rachel and Ann Trimble to be equally divided among them share and share like.

Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Samuel Trimble and my  son-in-law Isaac Jacobs my join executors of this my lastwill and Testament and do hereby give and bequeath unto eachof them one hald Johannes over and above all other Legacies herein before mentioned n consideration of their faithfully executing the trust hereby reposed inthem now revoking all former wills by me made declaring this and this only to be my last will and testament. In witness therof I have hereunto set my hand and seal dated this third day of the first month one thousand seven hndred and eighty seven .
