There are two churches called St.. Mary's Episcopal in Warwick township, both of which properties were part of the parish. By the time of the 1873 Witmer Atlas, St. Mary's had built a school house and a meeting hall on Morningside Road. The church on Morningside is the active church, as the older church on Warwick road has not been in use for many years, though other denominations have made use of it from time to time.
St. Peter's church in Phoenixville was established in 1838, and land for a church was donated by Benajmin Reeves, David Reeves and Samuel Whitaker. The building was consecrated in 1852. Beginning in 1900, a new church was built, with changes ongoing to its structure for the next 30 years.
