An indulged meeting was established at Tuckahoe Neck in 1798 by Third Haven Monthly Meeting, probably at the request of the Nicholites in the area. The meeting for worship was established under Southern Quarterly in 1804 and in 1807, a preparative meeting for Tuckahoe Neck and Greensborough was created.
The meeting house, built in 1802, still stands just outside of Denton. The property, including the small burial plot, belongs to the local electrical company, which has allowed it to be restored.
