Book Indian Mound

This is the site of an Indian burial mound. A sign placed there in 1929 states: "Here lie the remains of twenty-six Indians excavated by the Pennsylvania Historical Commission". The mound is in a field on private property, surorunded by a wooden fence in the shade of a large tree.
