Old St. David's straddle the township and county lines, with the old church falling into Newtown township in Delaware county, while the northern part of the cemetery falls in Easttown township in Chester County. The cornerstone of the church was laid in May 1715.
In 2014, the Resurrection Episcopal Church was formed as a result of a merger between St. James Episcoapl and Calvary Episcopal churches and is located at the site of the latter.
