Boas, Kate L.: Sues Woman; Alienation Inferred

Kate L. Boas, wife of former Select Councilman Howard L. Boas, this aftenoon started an action in trespass against Mrs. Laura F. Steininger, a divorced woman. No statement has been filed, but it is understood that the suit is for alleged alienation of the affections of Mr. Boas. Mr. and Mrs. Boas recently separated.1

Hiester Clymer - His Death Caused by Morphine

Reading, Pa. June 17. Considerable excitement was caused here today by the report that the death of Hon. Hiester Clymer, who was buried yesterday afternoon, was caused by his own act and was not a natural one, as given out by his family and friends.
